Individual Therapy  - You will meet with Dr. Rock in a confidential setting and she will  conduct a comprehensive evaluation.  This assessment includes history  gathering and current symptoms which will help Dr. Rock ascertain  presenting problems and establish a treatment plan that is tailored to  your specific needs.  Together you will set treatment goals and your  progress will be monitored and discussed throughout the duration of  therapy.  Some goals may take more time depending on the nature of the  problem.

Couples Therapy  - You and your significant other will meet together with Dr. Rock to  discuss the interpersonal dynamics of the relationship.  She will help  you uncover the underlying issues and behaviors that lead to relational  tension while giving you tools to help resolve conflicts.  Honesty and  open communication is emphasized throughout sessions and assignments  will be given on occasion to practice outside the office.   Individual  therapy may be necessary in some cases in order to enhance  insights into personal relationship patterns.

Family Therapy  - Dr. Rock will meet with the family to discuss dysfunctional patterns  that lead to conflict.  Sometimes it may be necessary to include family  members when an individual is experiencing substance abuse issues,  eating disorder, or serious illness for additional support and guidance.   Therapy with adolescents will require periodic sessions with  parents/guardians to ensure that there is consistency within the  household.

Phone/Video Sessions  - Dr. Rock offers sessions via telephone or video for those who are at a  distance, live in underserved areas, suffering from illness, or those  unable to access transportation.  Additionally, the situation often  arises when an individual engages in therapy and builds a therapeutic  relationship with a clinician but must relocate due to career, school,  etc.  In order to maintain continuity of care, Dr. Rock offers this  valuable service to clients.  The service is convenient and  confidential, please inquire further for technical options.
